We’ll also explore what else you can add to your campers so that they can make your camping adventure a lot more exciting and comfortable.

Introduction to Lance Truck Campers

Lance truck campers are manufactured by Lance Camping Manufacturing Corporation. They have been making quality campers since 1965. In 2009, Lance Campers added travel trailers to their lineup to expand their products and cater to the needs of the RV community.

In 2018, REV Group Inc., an industry leader in the field of specialty vehicle brands, announced that they have acquired Lance Campers.

Lance truck campers are manufactured in Lancaster, California. Interested buyers can go on a tour in their manufacturing facility to know more about how these recreational vehicles are made.

Lance Truck Campers Construction

Lance truck campers are known for their quality. Each one is carefully manufactured using select materials that will guarantee that it is built to last and robust.

LanceLock™

Lance truck campers have an aluminum-framed superstructure. Their patented LanceLock design and construction features interlocking aluminum extrusions that connect all the exterior panels of the truck camper and make them fit together perfectly.

Computer Numerical Control

Lance invests in state of the art machines and latest technology to ensure precise cutting of materials used in the manufacture of their truck campers.

Roof

The roof of each Lance truck camper is made of energy-star rated Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) material. The roof vents are clamped in place. This is essential in preventing leaks. The roof also has rain gutters and drip spouts so that they won’t splash directly on the sidewalls of your camper.

Nose Cap

The camper’s aerodynamic nose cap is made of TPO. This is the same material used for car bumpers. The nose cap has a high gloss finish that makes it resilient to damages and at the same time, it is also easy to clean.

Exterior Walls

Their exterior walls are made of laminated fiberglass. They also come in a high gloss finish to make them easier to maintain and more resistant to scratches and abuses of the road.

Seals

Lance truck campers use seals that have an anti-wicking property. This ensures that moisture cannot seep through the laminate walls of the camper.

Azdel™

Lance uses Azdel construction instead of Luan wood. These panels are more lightweight, provide better insulation and sound absorption, and are free from formaldehyde. They are also very resistant to the buildup of molds and mildew.

Rigid block foam insulation

Lance Campers uses rigid block foam insulation for a more effective way of insulating the truck camper. They also offer more structural strength and they can hold out well against sagging.

Interior Walls

The interiors of Lance truck campers are made with imported Lite-Ply™ plywood. These beautiful panels are lighter, more durable, and free of formaldehyde.

Euro-Lite Wood

Lance imports these materials because they are stronger and lighter than other wood products used to make RVs. They use both tongue and groove and dovetail construction to ensure that they make beautiful and durable cabinets.

Looking at all these components that make a Lance truck camper, you will realize that these units are designed and assembled with such care and precision to offer you the best experience.
