Lance Travel Trailer Construction

All Lance travel trailers were designed and constructed using premium materials and the latest technology in the RV industry. Below are the innovative components that make these units not just ultra-light but also superior in quality.

Roof

The roof of Lance Camper’s travel trailers is made of EnergyStar rated PVC material. Its vents clamp securely in place even without using any screws. There are drip spouts and rain gutters to prevent leaks.

Insulation

Maximum “R” value is provided by its rigid block foam insulation. It also helps in promoting the structural strength of the trailer.

Azdel Panels

Instead of the usual Luan wood that’s used by most RV manufacturers, Lance uses Azdel™ panels. These materials are lighter, provides better insulation, more resistant to molds and mildew, and are free from any carcinogens and formaldehyde.

High gloss fiberglass exterior

The exterior walls of Lance travel trailers is made with high gloss fiberglass material. They have ben laminated using intense pressure with heat-setting adhesives to ensure their strength and durability.

Aluminum framing

Speaking of strength and durability, all their travel trailers are framed in this aluminum superstructure which provides a solid foundation for the unit while still maintaining its light weight.

Seals

The seals used in Lance travel trailers have an anti-wicking property. This prevents moisture from getting inside the laminated walls.

Euro-ply

The walls and cabinets inside these travel trailers are made of Euro-ply. This is superior in quality, lightweight, strong, and free from formaldehyde.

High gloss TPO lower front gravel guard with jewel

The front portion of the trailer is protected by a high gloss TPO lower front gravel guard with jewel LED lighting. This one is impressively tough and endures the beating of rough roads and difficult terrains.

Stainless steel fasteners

Different components of the travel trailers are held together by superb stainless steel fasteners. These are resistant to corrosion which ensures the durability of the unit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who makes Lance RV?

Lance truck campers and travel trailers had their beginnings in North Hollywood, California. This was way back in 1965 and a man named Richard Murray started the company which used to be named M&M Trailer Supply. But sometime in the 1970s, it was sold to Jack Cole.

Mr. Cole and his partner Jeff Souleles turned Lance into one of the most successful and well respected companies in the RV industry. But the two eventually transitioned out of the company and sold it to REV Group, who has been the owner of Lance Campers since 2018. REV Group is also behind the well-known RV brands such as Fleetwood RV, American Coach, Monaco Coach, and Midwest Automotive Designs.

With their experience and expertise in the RV industry, the REV Group expanded the collection of Lance Campers and took over the travel trailer segment as well. They are also set to diversify and show the rest of the world what the Lance difference is all about.

Where are Lance Campers made?

The main manufacturing facility of Lance Campers is based in California. They call this place a campus where they continuously do research and development for their campers and trailers. This is also the venue where they study about the particular needs and demands of the market and where they teach dealers everything they need to know about their products.
