Winnebago Spirit Construction
The Winnebago Spirit 22M and 22R units originally come with a Ford® E350 chassis while the rest of the floorplans are built on a Ford® E450 chassis. But buyers of 22M and 22R have the option to upgrade to Ford® E450 chassis if they want to.
Under the hood is a 7.3L V8 Premium engine that produces 350 hp. It is mated to a TorqShift 6-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and comes with 210-amp. alternator and 4-wheel ABS. Together they can take you to great distances without any worries over any terrain.
Spirit also has stainless steel wheel liners and valve extenders. You can also get a spare tire for your road emergency.
Spirit has a towing capacity of 7,500 lbs. Bigger units come with rear auxiliary springs to help them in carrying a heavier load. You can conveniently tow a small car or your favorite outdoor gears. That’ll make your trip more fun!

Winnebago Spirit Exterior Features
Winnebago Spirit is available in 4 premium high-gloss fiberglass skin. Catalina Deluxe is off white with blue streaks, Chestnut Deluxe is cream with brown strokes, Cool Mist is dominantly light gray with some touches of white, and Suede is mostly dark gray also with white bands.
The front of the rig has a molded front cap in the upper deck. At the back, there’s a built-in ladder to give you access to the roof.
