If the problem is really about having a cracked water line, then you need to repair it immediately.

Turn off the water pump. Using a pocket knife, cut out the cracked portion of the water line. You should have a plastic tubing on hand and cut out a portion that has the same measurement with the part that you’ve just removed.

If you don’t know what kind of plastic tubing to get, just inquire with your trusted RV supplies store.

Step 5: Patch up the water line

If the plastic tubing that you got has a lot of slack in it, you can patch up the water line with just one fitting. But if your plastic tubing doesn’t have any slack, it’s best to use two and attach them together before you put them on the water line right in the spot where you cut the old portion.

Leave it to dry for about 12 to 24 hrs. Once it’s already dry, you can turn on the water pump again and observe what happens. It should be able to solve the issue and you can expect that there won’t be any leaks anymore.

Keep in mind that it’s best to ask for professional help if you don’t have the skills to perform these tasks. This is true especially when you can’t figure out anymore what’s wrong with your water pump.
